It will be recalled that a number of foreign-born players have been linked to playing for the Black Stars. A number of names  Hudson Odoi, Edward Nketiah, Inaki Williams, Nico Williams, Tariq Lamptey and many more who have Ghanaian lineage have been linked to joining the team in Qatar for the 2022 world cup. There have been reports that some players have completed the nationality switch and some Ghanaians were happy to hear the news.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: rgb(34, 34, 34);\">A lot of people are looking forward to Ghana presenting a formidable squad to the world cup and are expecting some names that have been mentioned here to make the team. Some of these high profile players have indicated their readiness to play for the country. A few days ago, London-based Ghanaian coach confirmed on Kumasi-based Pure FM that Tariq Lamptey has completed his switch to play for Ghana. With players like the Williams brothers, reports were that their parents had agreed for them to play for Ghana and that the GFA had started the process for their switch. Callum Hudson-Odoi\u2019s case is like the Williams brothers.
