According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, the condition of having both male and female reproductive organs is known as\u00a0hermaphroditism.<\/p>\n

It may happen that the person has female sex organ but male bodily features, or, the person has male sex organ but feminist features.<\/p>\n

For example, the person may look on the outside like a “man” but be having a female reproductive organ.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the person may “look” like a woman on the outside, having breasts, but with male genitalia.<\/p>\n

Hermaphroditism is a known condition in some plants and animals. But among humans, it is a rare condition.<\/p>\n

According to medical research, children born with this condition, may undergo surgery to become one of the sexes -male or female. The decision is often taken by the parents based on the dominant character.<\/p>\n

That is, if the penis is more developed than vagina, then the vagina will be surgically removed, and vice versa.<\/p>\n

Children with such conditions in Africa grow with it grow with it because the surgery is too expensive for the family to bear the cost.<\/p>\n
