Gyakie <\/strong><\/p>\n Songbird, Gyakie, has celebrated her Best International Collaboration Award at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Awards by thanking Ghanaians for their support.<\/p>\n On May 7, she won the category with her chart-topping \u2018Forever Remix\u2019 featuring Nigeria\u2019s Omah Lay. \u2018Forever Remix\u2019 was nominated alongside top songs including, Yaw Tog\u2019s \u2018Sore Remix\u2019 (featuring Stormzy and Kwesi Arthur), Black Sherif\u2019s \u2018Second Sermon Remix\u2019 (featuring Burna Boy), Darkovibes\u2019 \u2018Je M\u2019appelle\u2019 (featuring Davido), Amaarae\u2019s \u2018Sad Girls Love Money Remix\u2019 (featuring Moliy and Kali Uchis), and Sarkodie\u2019s \u2018Non-Living Thing\u2019 (featuring Oxlade).<\/p>\n But Gyakie and Omah Lay were adjudged the winners.<\/p>\n \u201cBest International Collaboration, Thank you #VGMA23,\u201d she wrote on Instagram<\/em>.<\/p>\n On March 18, 2021, Gyakie and Flip the released her debut five track project, \u2018Seed EP\u2019, which included \u2018Forever\u2019.<\/p>\n The song became an instant hit, especially in Nigeria. She later put Omah Lay on the song for the remix, after the release of her EP.<\/p>\n When the song (Forever Remix) was released, it charted in over 20 countries on Apple , peaked number 10 on UK\u2019s Official Afrobeats Chart, and peaked number three on Billboard\u2019s Top Triller Chart.
