Kendrick Lamar<\/strong><\/p>\n Kendrick Lamar\u00a0has dropped his comeback single and video in \u2018The Heart Part 5\u2019, and fans can\u2019t stop talking about the song\u2019s third verse.<\/p>\n With his return, K-Dot pays tribute to late\u00a0Nipsey Hussle, as his face in the\u00a0visual transforms into a deep fake of Hussle. The entire video sees Lamar morphing into popular figures like\u00a0Kanye West, OJ Simpson, Jussie Smollett, and Kobe Bryant, but the tribute to Nipsey is what seems to be guiding the last chunk of the track, as well as fan conversation.<\/p>\n The song, which samples Marvin Gaye\u2019s 1976 classic\u00a0\u2018I Want You\u2019, closes off on the\u00a0second half of the third verse\u00a0with several lines that are evidently from the perspective of Nip, who was murdered on March 31, 2019, when K. Dot was performing in Argentina.<\/p>\n \u201cI wake up that morning with more heart to give you,\u201d Kendrick raps. \u201cAs I bleed through the speakers, feel my presence.\u00a0To my brother, to my kids, I\u2019m in Heaven.\u00a0To my mother, to my sis, I\u2019m in Heaven.\u00a0To my father, to my wife, I am serious, this is Heaven.\u00a0To my friends, make sure you countin\u2019 them blessings.\u00a0To my fans, make sure you make them investments.\u201d<\/p>\n Lamar then sends a message to \u201cthe killer that sped up my demise,\u201d rapping from the perspective of Hussle that his murderer is forgiven, but his \u201csoul is in question.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI seen the pain in your pupil when that trigger had squeezed,\u201d K-Dot spits.\u00a0\u201cAnd though you did me gruesome, I was surely relieved.\u00a0I completed my mission, wasn\u2019t ready to leave.\u00a0But fulfilled my days, my Creator was pleased.\u201d<\/p>\n The verse continues with a request to be celebrated \u201cwith respect\u201d and for \u201cunity\u201d to be protected, as Lamar makes an apparent reference to Nipsey\u2019s brother, Samiel Asghedom, a.k.a.
