King Promise<\/strong><\/p>\n Ghanaian highlife and afrobeats singer, Gregory Bortey Newman, known as King Promise, says his forthcoming 15-track album titled \u2018The 5 Stars\u2019 has great hits and features, and is expected to top global charts after its release on June 10 this year.<\/p>\n According to the \u2018Chop Life\u2019 crooner, in an interview with Okay FM<\/em> monitored by BEATWAVES<\/em><\/strong>, the album speaks about his inspirational musical journey, and the growth of his brand from being the Nungua \u2018Boy P\u2019 to the renowned King Promise.<\/p>\n The album contains his recent singles \u2018Bad N Rude\u2019 ft. WSTRN, \u2018Chop Life\u2019 ft. Patoranking, \u2018Ring My Line\u2019 ft Headie One, and \u2018Slow Down\u2019. The 5-Star project will also include singles with Wizkid, Omah Lay, Chance the Rapper, Vic Mensa, Frenna and Bisa Kdei.<\/p>\n Having burst onto the Ghanaian music scene with his debut album \u2018As Promise\u2019, the highlife sensation boasts of quite an impressive catalogue of hit singles within a very short time of their release, with great features such as \u2018Bra\u2019 with the legendary highlife musician, Kojo Antwi, \u2018Selfish\u2019 with Nigerian singer, Simi, and a host of others.<\/p>\n King Promise\u2019s latest release is titled \u2018Ginger\u2019, produced by Grammy-winning producer JAE5. \u2018Ginger\u2019 is King Promise\u2019s first official output of the year, following the success of his Patoranking assisted \u2018Chop Life\u2019.<\/p>\n In 2021, the afro-pop musician made his Billboard chart debut with his song \u2018Slow Down\u2019.
