Giving up .

Average people give up when things get a bit tough, whenever they feel a bit uncomfortable. If you can learn to push through discomfort, to keep going when something is tough instead of quitting or constantly changing direction, you’ll soon level up beyond average.

2. Watching too much Netflix.

No, I’m not saying you can’t watch Netflix (although there are much better things you could be doing).

But watching too much Netflix or TV is an issue.

Instead of constantly consuming for entertainment, start consuming for education, whether it’s courses, books, Youtube or podcasts .

Start putting that wasted time into something useful and learn something.

3. Letting your emotions control your work.

Average people work when they feel like it .

If you’re not willing to put your emotions to one side and do what you need to do regardless of if you feel like it, you’re going to stay average.

“From this instant on, vow to stop disappointing yourself. Separate yourself from the mob. Decide to be extraordinary and do what you need to do – now” – Epictetus

4. Giving in to your impulses .

Whether it’s alcohol, weed, TV or heading out with friends at every opportunity.

If you want to be better than average, you need to make sacrifices and learn to ignore your impulses.

Begin to look at every decision logically and with how it relates to pushing you towards your goal. And no, weed does not make you more productive no matter what you think.

5. Winging it .

Do most people you know plan their days? Do they physically write it out hour by hour? No, they don’t and then they wonder why they have no time to do anything and why they’re overwhelmed.

Stop winging it .Start planning your days, prioritising the tasks that will move you towards your goals.

6. Having a scarcity mindset

Average people believe there is not enough to go around and that they could never get whatever it is they desire.

Realise that there is more than enough room at the table, you just have to pull out a chair and sit down. Whatever it is you desire, there is more than enough to go around.

If you enjoyed this article, please like and share to friends

Content created and supplied by: Walasty12 (via Opera
News )

    , . , .
