They have been very exceptional in other European competitions like the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. They have won the European titles a couple of times. However, the team\u2019s performances has dropped in recent times. The government of the United Kingdom then made the club available for sale. This attracted investors from all angles of the world. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/41afe6e337f44283940aab251470aafe\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Different businessmen all around the world were eager to purchase the club. Sir Jim Ratcliff, Todd Boehly and many others were all very keen to purchase the club.
