In the club the feeling we have is we try to do it again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are sad, of course, because we were close \u2013 but not close enough. Madrid deserve it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe players wanted to play the final, but for this club to compete against Real the way we did is a joy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI say congratulations to Liverpool and Madrid, they deserve it. Next season we try again and, if it doesn\u2019t work, we try again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Real will face Liverpool in Paris on 28 May, in a repeat of\u00a0the 2018 final.<\/p>\n<p>Guardiola said he \u201cdidn\u2019t speak\u201d with his players after Wednesday\u2019s dramatic exit.<\/p>\n<p>With four games left in the Premier League, the defending champions are a point clear of Liverpool and host Newcastle on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo words can help what we feel,\u201d said Guardiola. \u201cIt\u2019s a question of time, we try to sleep and think of the targets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ ALSO:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will be together on Saturday, so we will talk about who we are as a team and what we\u2019ve done to get to the semi-finals of the Champions League.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can\u2019t compare what happened in the past to what will happen in the future.
