{"id":1078190,"date":"2022-05-06T10:44:47","date_gmt":"2022-05-06T10:44:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/05\/06\/miss-tourism-ghana-2022-launched\/"},"modified":"2022-05-06T10:44:47","modified_gmt":"2022-05-06T10:44:47","slug":"miss-tourism-ghana-2022-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/05\/06\/miss-tourism-ghana-2022-launched\/","title":{"rendered":"Miss Tourism Ghana 2022 Launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Sedinam; Miss Tourism Ghana Chaperone and Delphine Brew-Hammond; Director of Events and Operations Miss Tourism Ghana organisation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Miss Tourism Ghana 2022 has been launched to continue the tradition of promoting the rich cultural heritage and tourist destinations across the country.<\/p>\n<p>Miss Tourism Ghana is one of the most influential beauty pageants in Ghana, solely dedicated to projecting the tourism sector.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years it created the avenue for selling destination Ghana locally and internationally.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s pageant will take place on September 2 at the National Theatre in Accra.<\/p>\n<p>The launching ceremony was held at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra on April 29 under the theme, \u201cTourism The Heart of Ghana.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was attended by several personalities from the tourism sector and the event\u2019s sponsors.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the media, Delphine Brew-Hammond, Director of the Miss Tourism Ghana organization said, \u201cThe pageant is also an opportunity for young women to know more about their culture and heritage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pageant is open to ladies from the age of 18 to 26 who are willing to become Tourism ambassadors for Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>The contest will commence with various auditions in some major parts of the country, starting in Tamale on May 14, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>In all, about 40 ladies will be picked from the auditions and later the numbers will be trimmed down to 16 ladies for the main pageant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>By Francis Addo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- AI CONTENT END 2 -->\n\t<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sedinam; Miss Tourism Ghana Chaperone and Delphine Brew-Hammond; Director of Events and Operations Miss Tourism Ghana organisation Miss Tourism Ghana 2022 has been launched to continue the tradition of promoting the rich cultural heritage and tourist destinations across the country.
