E-levy is a new taxation method that is being implemented in Ghana precisely it is going to start today that is , 1st May, 2022. This form of taxation method is going to amass its revenue when you transact with your Mobile money account, what is known as ‘MOMO’ in Ghana. <\/strong><\/h2>\n

This bill was promulgated some time back in the Ghanaian parliament, was debated upon and finally it has been passed as a law. <\/p>\n

A post today on the official Instagram page of the Ghanaian President, His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo had its main intention to remind the people of Ghana that the E-levy is going to start its action effective from today. See screenshot below; <\/p>\n

owing to this E-levy, many tax fearing ghanaians have made up their minds to shun using their mobile wallets as some have also planned to use other methods to avoid the E-levy. <\/p>\n
