Aboakyer is the festival of the people of Winneba and it’s environs. The celebration of this festival begins in the early days of the month, May or the late days of the April month. It’s a week long festival.<\/p>\n

The Aboakyer festival is an example of a Thanksgiving festival as the Effutu people Hunt for a live deer and present it to their god, “Penkye Otu” to express their gratitude to it for helping them migrate from their old settlement to their present day settlement.<\/p>\n

The celebration of Aboakyer for 2022 has began and the answer order in which the activities are going to be carried out, I mean the program outline is in. See below.<\/p>\n
