Just a few weeks ago, Asante Kotoko were having a commanding lead in the Ghana Premier League. Every football loving person was thinking that Kotoko has wrapped up the title with the kind of advantage they were having. That notion has changed over the past matchdays. If Kotoko had been disciplined and clinical enough, they would have been declared winners by now. They have lost their previous 2 matches to Real Tamale United and Legon Cities. Prior to these losses, they were firmly in control of the title race. <\/p>\n

The chasing pack are not serious enough. They have failed woefully to take advantage of the dip in fortunes of Kotoko. Probably, that has gotten into the heads of the Kotoko players and they are becoming complacent. They now hold a 7 point advantage of Bechem United who are in second position on the log. With 8 matches to end the season, if Kotoko’s fortunes doesn’t change, they might be laughing at the wrong side of their mouth at the end of the season. <\/p>\n
