The erratic behaviour that is likely to occur when you drink alcohol is not pleasing to God. \u201cBut when you drink and don\u2019t get drunk, nobody can stop you or accuse you of sin,\u201d he said on Okay FM\u2019s Ade Akye Abia morning show in an interview.<\/p>\n<p>Rev. Bempah was responding to GIHOC Distilleries CEO Maxwell Kofi Jumah\u2019s earlier statement that one cannot claim to be Christian and not drink alcohol.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">&#8211;  &#8211;<\/span><br \/>\n<!-- ResponsiveAll --><\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo Christian can deny drinking alcohol. \u201cJesus didn\u2019t say to drink to forget him, but to remember him,\u201d Mr Jumah said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you read the bible, you realise Jesus did not condemn alcohol when he came to earth,\u201d Rev. Bempah said, confirming Mr Jumah\u2019s position. But I disagree with those who say alcohol is a sin. For me Owusu Bempah, it is difficult to see me drunk or even drinking. It\u2019s hard.
