Speaking at a meeting on one of the prominent training colleges in the country, she made emphatically that during the New Democratic Congress governance, they did not cancel the teacher trainee allowance but gave a loan to students which they can rely on to pay their fees.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/d7ae5be6cfcf402ea3237446a99aee23\"\/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We never scrap the teacher trainee allowance. We never took anybody&#8217;s money from them, all those who were receiving the allowance, received them till they completed. So people who came on air (radio) saying because of allowance I can not pay my school fees, they were lying.
