I have some terrible images of younger children crossing streams during flooding to share with you today. By any stretch of the imagination, these photographs demonstrate that the government could care less about citizens in rural areas.<\/p>\n

All they really need are scaffolding, and that\u2019s it, so people can get streams instead of walking through them.<\/p>\n

On the last two weeks Kwazulu Natal was devastated by a severe flood that claimed the lives of over 400 people. Many people were left without shelter as a result of the heavy rains that washed away their dwellings.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Salvage organizations are still looking for assemblages of missing people. Because of the extent of the floods, the president had to declare a state of calamity. The focus is not on KZN, but on any kind of attitude over South Africa going to class that endures as if it were a heavy downpour.<\/p>\n

The water in a stream may not appear to be very deep at first glance, but once you step within, the movement can completely cleanse you.<\/p>\n

In the case that their children must cross streams during floods, guardians should not send them to school. We don\u2019t know what\u2019s in those floods, so there\u2019s no way of knowing how near we are to saving.<\/p>\n
