I was unpleasantly surprised by my country when somebody accused me of stealing a car and I was dragged to court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI went to court for years to try to prove my innocence and it was at this point that I realized that the Jesus syndrome is your own people. I had folks who I knew personally write on social media [to the effect that] I \u2018could steal the car\u2019 \u2026 So today if an issue of someone pops up I just keep quiet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I went to court and I had my day \u2026 I got off.\u201d He said he was treated like a punk after being arrested but, \u201cIt turned out that this car they said I\u2019ve stolen was my father\u2019s car.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reggie Rockstone, who is a member of the evergreen music trio VVIP recently said in a separate interview that he and the other members of the group are not under any pressure to release new songs because they are not desperate.<\/p>\n<p>The Hiplife Grandpapa as he\u2019s affectionately called said they understand the concept of the group hence the fact they have not released a new song in almost five years does not mean they are fizzling out. He shared this sentiment in a new interview with Graphic .<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMembers of VVIP were \u2018elders\u2019 and not under pressure to release a song to prove their worth. We are not young artistes now clamouring for attention or fame. Besides, for the four years or so we were together, we proved to Ghanaians that when you have it, you have it and our records within the period proved that.<\/p>\n<p>It was a moment of an amazing display of humility where two brands came together so we are not under pressure at all.
