{"id":1063632,"date":"2022-04-22T08:07:52","date_gmt":"2022-04-22T08:07:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/04\/22\/professor-festus-ebo-turkson-joins-bog-monetary-policy-committee\/"},"modified":"2022-04-22T08:07:52","modified_gmt":"2022-04-22T08:07:52","slug":"professor-festus-ebo-turkson-joins-bog-monetary-policy-committee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/04\/22\/professor-festus-ebo-turkson-joins-bog-monetary-policy-committee\/","title":{"rendered":"Professor Festus Ebo Turkson joins BoG Monetary Policy Committee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size: 17px;\">\n                                                   Accra, April 22, GNA &#8211; The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has announced the appointment by its Board of Directors, of Professor Festus Ebo Turkson, as an external member of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC),  <\/p>\n<p>The appointment was pursuant to section 27(3)(E) of the Bank of Ghana 2002 (Act 612) as amended by the Bank of Ghana (Amendment) Act, 2016 (Act 918).<\/p>\n<div class=\"kMultiLine\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1.21460984.png\" width=\"100%\" height=\"\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" class=\"kMediaObject\"\/><\/div>\n<div class=\"kMultiLine\">Accra, April 22, GNA &#8211; The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has announced the appointment by its Board of Directors, of Professor Festus Ebo Turkson, as an external member of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC),<\/div>\n<div class=\"kMultiLine\">The appointment was pursuant to section 27(3)(E) of the Bank of Ghana 2002 (Act 612) as amended by the Bank of Ghana (Amendment) Act, 2016 (Act 918).<\/div>\n<div class=\"kMultiLine\">In a statement released on Wednesday, BOG explained that Professor would replace Dr. John K.
