{"id":1063149,"date":"2022-04-21T16:56:06","date_gmt":"2022-04-21T16:56:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/04\/21\/preach-what-you-can-do-avoid-insults-oti-minister-tells-aspirants\/"},"modified":"2022-04-21T16:56:06","modified_gmt":"2022-04-21T16:56:06","slug":"preach-what-you-can-do-avoid-insults-oti-minister-tells-aspirants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/04\/21\/preach-what-you-can-do-avoid-insults-oti-minister-tells-aspirants\/","title":{"rendered":"Preach what you can do, avoid insults\u2014Oti Minister tells aspirants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size: 17px;\">\n                                                   Nkwanta (O\/R), April 21, GNA &#8211; Mr Joshua Makubu, the Oti Regional Minister, has advised New Patriotic Party (NPP) faithful in the region vying for positions at the constituency levels to avoid politics of insults.<\/p>\n<div class=\"kMultiLine\">Rather, he urged them to preach what they could offer their constituencies to ensure victory in 2024.<\/div>\n<div class=\"kMultiLine\">Mr Makubu was speaking with journalists after the party opened nominations for interested members for the various positions at the constituency level at Nkwanta on Thursday.<\/div>\n<div class=\"kMultiLine\">He said the acrimony and misunderstanding, which \u201cheralded the polling station executive elections,\u201d in some constituencies in the region was worrisome.<\/div>\n<div class=\"kMultiLine\">\u201cInsults will breed acrimony, divide our ranks and arm our opponents with missiles to shoot us down, and so be measured in your campaigns,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n<div class=\"kMultiLine\">&#8220;This is a family affair.
