The Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen has taken a commanding lead ahead of his close contender the Vice President, Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) gears up to elect its Presidential Candidate for the 2024 general elections.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to a research conducted by Global Info Analytics, a renowned with experience in public opinion polling and data analytics, Hon. Alan Kyerematen is the favorite candidate in 8 regions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The regions are Ashanti, Greater Accra, Bono, Oti, Volta, Eastern, Western and Western North. The Data by global info analytics considered the period from January 2022 to April 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In January 2022, the poll suggested that, Dr. Bawumia was leading in Ashanti, Greater Accra, Eastern and Western North Regions. However, in April 2022, Alan Kyerematin leads in all the eight regions considered for the poll.<\/p>\n

It’s quite unclear what might have accounted for the decline in Dr. Bawumia’s percentage in this month of April.
