The extended play which was released in October, 2021 has gathered over 11 million streams on Boomplay.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p>Meanwhile; Afrobeats singing sensation, Adedamola Adefolahan, professionally called, Fireboy DML has yet again hit another global career milestone.<\/p>\n<p>The YBNL Nation superstar\u2019s chart topping record, \u2018Peru\u2019 bagged a remix with Grammy-award winning singer and songwriter, Edward Christopher Sheeran MBE, better known as Ed Sheeran.<\/p>\n<p>The Fireboy DML and Ed Sheeran\u2019s \u2018Peru\u2019 has received Gold certification in the United States of America. In the U.S, a song is eligible for gold certification after selling over 500,000 units.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on April 14th, 2022, \u201cPeru\u201d has officially sold more than 500,000 units, therefore making it eligible for a gold-certified record.<\/p>\n<p>This is coming few days after the same song was certified platinum in the United Kingdom after selling over six hundred thousand (600,000).
