Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande have been friends for some time. Almost four years ago they interacted via the comments section of an Instagram post that recently started to recirculate online.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n We\u2019re seeing and hearing about it again because of the post\u2019s subject matter: Pete Davidson, the Saturday Night Live<\/i> comedian previously engaged to Ariana who\u2019s now currently dating Kim.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n \u201cPete Davidson,\u201d you may recall, is also the title of a track from Ariana\u2019s 2018 record Sweetener<\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n It goes like this: \u201cI thought you into my life, whoa \/ Look at my mind, yeah \/ No better place or a time \/ Look how they align \/ Universe must have my back \/ Fell from the sky into my lap \/ And I know you know that you\u2019re my soulmate and all that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Anyway! Kim shared this photo of herself on Instagram right around the time Sweetener<\/i> was released, and the caption pulled directly from that first verse of Ariana\u2019s song about Pete. \u201cUniverse must have my back,\u201d wrote the SKIMS founder.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n Ariana hopped into the post\u2019s comments to add another line from the verse. \u201cFell from the sky into my lap,\u201d she commented.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n People are flipping out a tiny bit on social media right now because reading Kim and Ariana\u2019s exchange, in the context of Pete\u2019s current relationship status, just hits differently.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n These days, there seems to be just as much love between Kim and Ariana, as the pop star recently gifted the reality TV personality with some goodies from her R.E.M.
