In the U.S, a song is eligible for gold certification after selling over 500,000 units.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on April 14th, 2022, \u201cPeru\u201d has officially sold more than 500,000 units, therefore making it eligible for a gold-certified record.<\/p>\n<p>This is coming few days after the same song was certified platinum in the United Kingdom after selling over six hundred thousand (600,000).
