{"id":1060441,"date":"2022-04-19T10:06:02","date_gmt":"2022-04-19T10:06:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/04\/19\/prince-david-osei-celebrates-easter-with-needy\/"},"modified":"2022-04-19T10:06:02","modified_gmt":"2022-04-19T10:06:02","slug":"prince-david-osei-celebrates-easter-with-needy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/04\/19\/prince-david-osei-celebrates-easter-with-needy\/","title":{"rendered":"Prince David Osei Celebrates Easter With Needy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Prince David presenting items to Jane Adu of Potter\u2019s Village<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Actor, Prince David Osei, spent the Easter festivity lending a supporting hand to the needy in society.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, the award-winning actor donated some items worth hundreds of Ghana cedis to orphans at Potter\u2019s Village at Dodowa.<\/p>\n<p>Items donated included bags of rice, cartons of soft drinks, water, gallons of cooking oil, and soap, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The activity was followed by distributing food to underprivileged persons on the streets of Accra on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>He and his team shared food, water, and soft drinks with both children and adults on the street.<\/p>\n<p>Among the recipients were porters at the Tema Station in Accra, and deprived persons at\u00a0Circle, a suburb of Accra. The team also made a stop at Nima to share food in the evening, after folks there broke their fast.<\/p>\n<p>The charity activity was made possible by Prince David Osei\u2019s PDO Foundation, in collaboration with the charity arm of the National Lottery Authority, with support from Verna Mineral Water.<\/p>\n<p>The Easter activity was dubbed, \u201cOperation Feed The Street,\u201d and it was the third of its kind in Easter.
