– –<\/span> Mabel Mawusi Dogah, a young female goalkeeper, was one of the seven individuals who drowned in the Volta Lake last Thursday while crossing from the Volta to the Eastern Region.<\/p>\n The boat hit a storm and sank, killing the seven people on board, including the young player, whose corpse was discovered on Sunday, April 17.<\/p>\n The boat\u2019s passengers were rescued in 13 numbers.<\/p>\n – –<\/span> The Volta Regional Football Association announced Dogah\u2019s death: \u201cOur condolences to Mabel Mawusi Dogah\u2019s family, the Ghana Women League, and Mepe Peace Ladies FC.<\/p>\n \u201cMabel drowned on Thursday, April 14, 2022, and her body was located in the Dzemeni riverbank yesterday, April 17.
