Alec Baldwin is currently a father of seven. People ask him about parenthood a lot since \u2014 with the exception of Ireland Baldwin \u2014 most of his kids\u2019 ages have yet to reach double-digits.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n Alec and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, share six children younger than ten. There\u2019s 8-year-old Carmen Gabriela, 6-year-old Rafael Thomas, 5-year-old Leonardo \u00c1ngel Charles, 3-year-old Romeo Alejandro David, and, finally, Eduardo Pao Lucas, who celebrated his first birthday several months ago.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n Ireland, who many of us probably recognize thanks to her modeling career, is 26 and Alec\u2019s oldest. Her mother is the actor\u2019s ex, Kim Basinger.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n Anyway, comments about Alec\u2019s sizable family have come and gone over the years, and reentered the public conversation recently when he and Hilaria announced they\u2019re expecting another baby.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n \u201cOne of the most beautiful things my children have experienced with a big family is how the heart can grow with every new sibling,\u201d they said in a statement to People that confirmed the news. \u201cOur capacity to love continues to expand and we can\u2019t wait to embrace our new little one this fall!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n Caring for seven little kids sounds challenging, to say the least, and logistically unfathomable from where I\u2019m standing TBH. But as Alec explained in an Instagram post that seemed to address chatter surrounding his and Hilaria\u2019s busy household, the couple is embracing \u201cthe journey.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n \u201cPeople ask why.
