For those who don\u2019t know, Amy jokingly called Kirsten a \u201cseat filler,\u201d at the 2022 Oscars.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n More awkward moments at the Oscars: Amy Schumer, with one of the most unfunny jokes of all time, moved Kirsten Dunst out of her seat, calling her a \u201cseat filler,\u201d prompting husband Jesse Plemons to say \u201cyou know that was my wife?\u201d<\/p>\n 03:35 AM \u2013 28 Mar 2022<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div> The entire thing was orchestrated, Amy and Kirsten herself confirmed. But the backlash still ensued.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n \u201cI did a bit with Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons. That was completely orchestrated. We talked beforehand,\u201d she told Howard. \u201cThe joke was that I was pretending I thought she was a seat filler. And we all worked that out together. I got death threats.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n \u201cThe Secret Service reached out to me. They were so bad that the Secret Service reached out to me. I was like, \u2018Oh, I think you have the wrong number. This is Amy, not Will,’\u201d she continued.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n \u201cNot that I want Will to get death threats, but the misogyny is unbelievable,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n She clarified to Howard why people were mad. \u201cThey were like, \u2018Who do you think are you to disrespect Kirsten Dunst like that?\u2019 The Secret Service, the LAPD \u2014 the [death threats] were that serious and that many.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n \u201cThey called me and they were like, \u2018Did you make fun of Kristen<\/i> Dunst at the Oscars?’\u201d Amy said in a deep voice. \u201cI was like, \u2018Yes, Kirsten<\/i>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n Amy said the drama and backlash didn\u2019t affect her relationship with Kirsten and her husband, Jesse Plemons. \u201cHer and Jessie are the coolest.
