{"id":1046262,"date":"2022-04-05T20:19:58","date_gmt":"2022-04-05T20:19:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/04\/05\/kwesi-nyantakyi-will-surely-return-to-football\/"},"modified":"2022-04-05T20:19:58","modified_gmt":"2022-04-05T20:19:58","slug":"kwesi-nyantakyi-will-surely-return-to-football","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/04\/05\/kwesi-nyantakyi-will-surely-return-to-football\/","title":{"rendered":"Kwesi Nyantakyi will surely return to football"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"td-post-featured-image\">\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"464\" class=\"entry-thumb\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/IMG-20220210-WA0123-1-696x464.jpg\"   alt=\"Kwesi Nyantakyi\" title=\"Kwesi Nyantakyi\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kwesi Nyantakyi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Hearts of Oak board member, Dr Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe, believes Kwesi Nyantakyi, who is a former Ghana Football Association [GFA] boss, will make a return to football soon.<\/p>\n<p>The former CAF 1st Vice President lost all his roles in football after he was caught on tape engaging in bribery and corruption.<\/p>\n<p>Despite steering Ghana to a three successive World Cup appearance, Mr Nyantakyi was slapped with a 15-year ban from football-related activities.<\/p>\n<p>However, Dr Nyaho Tamakloe, who is a former Ghana Football Association boss, speaking in an interview, lauded the impact of Kwesi Nyantakyi insisting the country is missing his services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ ALSO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to him, the former Wa All Stars now [Legon Cities] owner will return to football soon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a young man that was on the verge of becoming FIFA president but he was brought down for no reason,\u201d he told <strong>Asempa FM<\/strong> on the <strong>Ultimate Sports Show.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe took over from me and his intelligence in football is amazing and having worked with him, I think we are missing him as a country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe that he will surely return to football soon.
