Spotify will become the first brand to sponsor the Nou Camp<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Barcelona\u2019s stadium will be renamed as the Spotify Camp Nou after the La Liga club agreed a multi-year partnership with audio streaming service Spotify.<\/span><\/p>\n

The agreement, subject to ratification of the club\u2019s Extraordinary Delegate Members Assembly, will begin in July.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Swedish company\u2019s name will also appear on the front of the men\u2019s and women\u2019s team shirts and training kits.<\/span><\/p>\n

Barcelona said the stadium\u2019s rights deal would \u201ccontinue over the ambitious redevelopment of the Camp Nou site\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

The club added the team shirt deal would begin in the 2022-23 season and last \u201cfor the next four seasons\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

It will be the first time that the title of Barcelona\u2019s stadium has included the name of a sponsor.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Catalan radio station Rac1, the agreement with Spotify is worth 280m euros (\u00a3235m).<\/span><\/p>\n

Barcelona described the deal as a \u201cfirst of its kind\u201d for the club and said the partnership would seek to bring \u201cthe worlds of music and football together\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last year, Spotify founder Daniel Ek made a bid to <\/span>buy Premier League side Arsenal<\/span>, which was supported by former Gunners legends Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
