A man from Gumunyu in Gokwe North, lost his life after he supposedly drank a medicine mixed with a poison that is meant to boost his strength in bed. The deceased identified as Herimani Tererai Mudhefi, and popularly known in his area as Chitova, passed on after he was supposedly given the mixture by another man, Livison Chizema popularly known as Mabvuhu. <\/p>\n

There are two variants to Mudhefi’s death with some guaranteeing that he was given the mixture of medicine and poison by Chizema under the guise that it was intended to help his libido while others are asserting that it was a kidney-cleansing invention. Mudhefi’s confused family is supposedly requesting answers from Chizema. <\/p>\n

As per a source from the area who professed to have personal subtleties of the occurrence, the deceased felt aggravation and began regurgitating not long after drinking the poisoned beer. Chizema is accounted for to have told the now deceased that assuming he felt torment and pain, it implied that the medicine was working. <\/p>\n

After around 10 minutes, Mudhefi is said to have begun heaving and seeing that his victim’s condition had begun serious, Chizema vanished from the scene. Mudhefi’s family purportedly brought Chizema to come and disclose to them about the blend he had given to Mudhefi and he refused. He later accepted after the family had threatened to dump Mudhefi who was writhing in agony at his home. <\/p>\n
When they asked him about the concoction, he said that he got it from his daughter-in-law. When investigations were made, it then emerged that Chizema had deliberately swapped the concoction he was given by his daughter-in-law with the one suspected to have been laced with poison. They tried to save him, by taking him to Musadzi Clinic and he was later transferred to Mutora Hospital where he later died.<\/p>\n
