I was keen to try something different so agreed to give it a try.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/22191989129,1002554\/MGL\/mgl_ado_atunwa_300x250 --><\/p>\n<p>Sadly, it\u2019s ended up being a big turn off for me. As much as I love my husband, he no longer fits comfortably into Lycra in the way he did before.<\/p>\n<p>The result is, I simply don\u2019t find the roleplay arousing at all, but he seems to really enjoy it.<\/p>\n<p>How can I break it to him sensitively that our new experiment isn\u2019t working for me? I\u2019d love some guidance.<\/p>\n<h2>Coleen says<\/h2>\n<p>Well, firstly, good on you for giving his suggestion a go! I think the important thing is you took his idea on board and gave it a whirl.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to fantasy and \u00adroleplay, both partners have to enjoy it and get into it or it\u2019s pointless.<\/p>\n<p>As for breaking the news, don\u2019t make it about how he looks in Lycra, simply explain that it\u2019s not a turn-on for you, which means you don\u2019t feel relaxed.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m sure he won\u2019t want you to feel that you\u2019re doing it just for him.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps you\u2019re focusing on the wrong thing here. Rather than trying to come up with big ideas for the bedroom, why not try building romance and intimacy day-to-day?<\/p>\n<p>These can be small loving gestures \u2013 paying a compliment, sending a sexy text, or taking the time to do \u00adsomething nice together.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s this stuff that builds desire and has a knock-on effect in the bedroom.
