For a while now people have been leaving the Country and emigrating, while that\u2019s okay and there choice, the problem here is that some of these people have skills that are beneficial to developing South Africa. This has lead to our leaders actively developing ways to offer incentives to people so that they will stay. However how can people stay in a Country that the Government is not fixing.<\/p>\n

There plans :<\/strong><\/p>\n

The government is developing a National Labour Migration Policy (NLMP). The purpose of this policy is to attract people with skills to South Africa, Keep people with skills here, as well as keep people with undesirable skills away. The department of labor and employment said that attracting and keeping people with skills should be made a priority. <\/span><\/p>\n

However there is a key problem with this, which I believe will ultimately make this plan fail and that is that they are not taking into account why people are leaving the Country.<\/p>\n

Why there going :<\/strong><\/p>\n

More and more South Africans are leaving the Country to seek a better life elsewhere. This is because there opportunities here are severely limited and the dangers to life as well as cost of living is increasing.<\/p>\n

One of the things emphasized by the news these days is the high crime rate. People are being murdered, Hijacked and robbed on a daily basis. This creates a situation where people are in danger just by driving around, especially in high risk areas.<\/p>\n

Another big problem at the moment is poverty and unemployment. A lot of people do not have jobs and find it hard to make ends meet. This has lead to people struggling to find there next meals and take care of there families.<\/p>\n

Finally the cost of living in South Africa is ever increasing, that\u2019s evident in the way the petrol price is rising, which causes a domino effect that affects everything else.<\/p>\n

These are the reasons that many South Africans are choosing to leave the Country and without fixing these problem, I don\u2019t believe it\u2019s possible to make them stay.<\/p>\n

First and foremost the government needs work on creating and providing jobs, especially for the people who they want to stay. Than work on lowering the cost of living. If People can live comfortably in the Country, than they will have no incentive to leave.<\/p>\n
