In Midrand \u2013 Zuma reiterated the government\u2019s commitment to restoring pride in a profession that is generally recognized as the mother of all professions.<\/p>\n

Our goal is for students to see instructors as role models and learn more from them than from the textbooks. Students may learn a lot about being successful, courteous, and responsible citizens by observing the behavior of their teachers, according to Zuma.<\/p>\n

Thursday night\u2019s National Teaching Awards ceremony honored the nation\u2019s hard-working and dedicated teachers with a spectacular presentation.<\/p>\n

Teachers were urged by Zuma to assist the government in making education a fundamental service. He pressed them to do something to improve their profession\u2019s public image.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe teaching profession will restore the community\u2019s respect if teachers show up on time and do their task thoroughly.\u201d It\u2019s not easy being a teacher in this day and age. They represent the nation\u2019s ambitions and aspirations.<\/p>\n

South Africa\u2019s future citizens will be shaped by the way they are raised and nurtured by our mothers and fathers.\u201d According to the President, \u201cWe will create the country that national heroes like Pixley ka Isaka Seme, Chief Albert Luthuli and Ruth First and Dorothy Nyembe and many heroes and heroines lost their lives in order to establish,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

It was his duty to issue a dire warning to those who did not share his admiration for the great ideal of South Africa\u2019s ancestors.<\/p>\n

The teachers who are being honoured today have dedicated their lives to the noble goal of educating future leaders. Our instructors are a source of great pride for our country.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey set the bar high for what we should all strive towards.<\/p>\n

Our appeal for more attention to the \u201cTriple Ts\u201d \u2013 teachers, textbooks and time \u2013 was echoed by them.<\/p>\n

He asserted that the government had a duty to monitor the profession and that the Education Labor Relations Council was now debating a new mechanism for evaluating the effectiveness of educators.<\/p>\n

Reducing teacher absenteeism and improving the degree of accountability were top priorities for 2013.<\/p>\n

To be a good manager, one must be able to manage well. Additionally, we plan to engage closely with teachers\u2019 unions to help instill the importance of ethical behavior in their ranks.<\/p>\n

It was Zuma\u2019s desire that all South African children have a high-quality education that he expressed. His message was clear: if we want to construct an effective country that upholds the objectives of the US Constitution, we must first invest in education.<\/p>\n

For educators, the government has done a great deal since the beginnings of democracy to increase their pay and supply and use.<\/p>\n

South African President Jacob Zuma has stated that good wages and working conditions are essential to attracting, motivating and maintaining highly qualified teachers.<\/p>\n

President Jacob Zuma said in his State of the Nation Address that the government will set up a Presidential Remuneration Commission to look into the salaries and working conditions of all state employees, beginning with teachers.<\/p>\n

Government funding for school infrastructure will be increased as part of the National School Build Program introduced by the President\u2019s Infrastructure Coordinating Committee on December 10, 2012.<\/p>\n
