It has been more than two years since the Covid-19 was discovered in China and later spread to hundreds of countries around the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In these few years that this virus has been with us, thousands of people have lost their lives to it. This is what I found out about Covid-19 related deaths around the world:\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cCountries have reported some five million COVID-19 deaths in two years, but global excess deaths are estimated at double or even quadruple that figure. <\/p>\n

Last year\u2019s Day of the Dead marked a grim milestone. On 1 November, the global death toll from the COVID-19 pandemic passed 5 million, official data suggested. It has now reached 5.5 million.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rumours have started circulating that Census 2022 is counting us to check how many people survived the Covid-19 pandemic. Could this really be the reason why we are being counted this year?<\/p>\n
