The show will be cancelled after seven years on the air.<\/p>\n<p>The Queen\u2019s contract has been confirmed to not be renewed for another season, according to trustworthy sources. On Twitter, entertainment blogger Phil Mphela announced the cancellation. Mphela expressed her displeasure on Twitter, writing:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/7f4b46ff994b49ac8bf65cab28c4465b\"\/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/d4f138ede446468cbea6033c6b1064fd\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The Mzansi Magic telenovela will not be renewed for a second season after nearly seven years on the air. The show will most certainly end this year unless there are any alterations to facilitate closing up the stories.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The drama series has recently lost its plot and is suffering from low ratings. In the previous two years, Gomora has eclipsed it as the most-watched drama series on Mzansi Magic.<\/p>\n<p>However, the drama series has been linked to a slew of salary issues, leading to major performers abandoning the show at the last minute.<\/p>\n<h2>The Queen was discontinued after seven years on the air.<\/h2>\n<p>Several key actors,  Rami Chiume, Brenda Ngxoli, and Cindy Mahlangu, decided to leave after a follow-up discussion with the showrunners. Connie Ferguson has been regarded as spiteful and cunning in the midst of it all, making it impossible for certain actors to give it their best on set. This month, the sho has already lost three crucial players, and it is trying to keep its group together.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/299726932bd44cd0bb3803819870cd59\"\/><\/p>\n<p>We can all agree that the show\u2019s cancellation is a death blow, since it has been struggling to keep up with public expectations. In the aftermath of SK Khoza, which fouled up the entire storyline, the drama series had to rethink its scenario.
