The murder of a thirty nine years old woman in Limpopo has left people in shock. A thirty nine years old woman identified as \u201cThivhalitshi Munyai\u201d from Ha-Lambani outside Thohoyandou was stoned to death by her husband. It is reported that the couple was going through a lot of problems and their relationship was really toxic.The suspect attached her and stoned her to death at their home and later ran away. She was confirmed dead on the way to the hospital.<\/p>\n

Apparently the man used to abuse her in the presence of their children. It said that he would lock her inside the room and attack her with no valid reason. On one of the events he almost poured her with hot water. Imagine such treatment from the one that you loved the most and trusted so much. She loved her husband wholeheartedly and hoped that he would change for the better. Sadly things did not turn the way she had thought. Now her children will grow up without a mother because of a heartless man.<\/p>\n

Cases like this in South Africa continue to increase and its sad to see women losing their lives almost everyday. Some have lost their lives in the hands of abusive men. You get to wonder what happens to men that makes them to treat women like this. Women are always crying about such things and nothing gets done about it. It\u2019s time South Africa unite to fight Gender Based Violence. This is one of the major problems being faced by women all over the country. Almost everyday cases like this continue to be reported,it\u2019s time South Africans take their time to fight this.<\/p>\n

Opinion : To all women who are being abused it is better to leave than wait for a person to change. Many have lost their lives waiting for their abusive partners to change. It\u2019s better to leave alive than dead. Also the country should implement death penalty to those who get caught doing such acts.
