When you talk about the Venda people, they are well known for practicing witchcraft. Many evil, scary things always happen at Venda. People who live in Venda still believe in their cultural ways of doing things and they still value their culture. That is why they still believe in ancestral and witchcraft things. Just a few days ago, there was a story about a woman who was caught allegedly practicing witchcraft at someone’s house in the morning. It wasn’t the first person to be caught in the act; there have been so many people who have been exposed for witchcraft in Venda. This makes other tribes feel scared to relocate to Venda because of the things that happen there are very traumatic.

Just when we thought we had seen it all, another incident left everyone shocked after they woke up to the sad news. The well-known Venda comedian, also known as ABC Livhu, woke up yesterday to find that his 12 chickens were poisoned to death. This broke his heart in such a way that he took it to social media to complain that whoever poisoned his chicken would pay a huge price. See the photo of the poisoned chickens below.

This man was angry in a way that he couldn’t just let it go. As a famous man who is well-known and knows many people, he contacted one of his Samgoma’s and explained what had happened, later posting that whoever killed his chickens would bewitch them in such a way that they would cry every time they saw him.He even posted a screenshot showing that he had already talked to his sangoma to do the job.

After this was posted, many people didn’t even feel sorry for whoever killed the chickens. Instead, they encourage him to bewitch them because they are abusing the community, some believe that these chickens were killed by the witches at night because this man has a tight security guard and civilian cameras at his home, so the security would have seen the person coming in and out.

Opinion

I believe that this is an act of witchcraft, or it might be that these chickens died naturally, because no one can risk being caught entering someone’s yard just to kill chickens. But knowing Venda people very well, everything is possible. Not so long ago, people were eating miraculous chickens.
