Yesterday, Ashante Buthelelezi, a 23-year-old assistant teacher at Celani School, handed over an abdication letter to the school’s principal.
The assistant teacher, Ashante, was almost assaulted in the school’s private latrines by three grade 8 students. It was allegedly revealed that the teacher was listening to yelling for help from the female private latrines. That’s when the school safety officer from the door slammed into it with a vengeance.
The teacher confirmed that this was not interesting… It almost happens on a regular basis, but today it turned out to be more regrettable. In any event, some are pursuing me,” Ashante said. I was so scared to tell the head because I never thought it would end like this, and I no longer have a solid sense of reassurance to work with such learners.
According to the safety officer, “I saw the young men as they exited their classes, but I had no idea they were planning to assault the unfortunate teacher.” I assumed they were just students going to the restroom, but when I heard the commotion, I dashed over to see what was going on.
When I arrived, Ashante was half-naked on the floor, her shirt and bra on the ground, said Mthinzi, the safety officer.
The school principal refused to acknowledge the enrollment letter, portraying Ashanti as a young, wonderful young lady with enthusiasm and saying he didn’t want to see her fantasy go to waste. She should continue with her agreement here in school. The young men will be expelled until the end of time, said the head.
CST Malatji stated, “The other two young men were completely captured for endeavor assault. One has left because he is under the age of 16 years.”
