Parents carelessness lead to 9 lives of pupil in Mpumalanga with an Unroad worthy taxi

In Mpumalanga school 9 pupil had passed away after a minibus (taxi) they were in was involved in a accident, Investigation took place when the members of SAPS arrived on the scene, discovered that the taxi is not unroad worthy and no condition to be transporting school kid.

The drive didn’t have permit to transport members of the public, again he had no drivers license. He has been arrested facing 9 Count of culpable homicide.

Parents in rural areas are alleged to be desperate in need of their kids to go to school but they find themselves sacrificing the life of their children in hands of unfortunate positions.

8-year’old Nombuso Radebe who was a grade 2 pupil is one of the learners that lost their lives when the minibus were traveling in overturned on the D267 between mayflower And Dundonald in Mpumalanga. A preliminary report has revealed that the mini bus wasn’t even be on the road.

Parents of the child want justice for their child, it is quite sad that parents have no choice to trust such drivers with their kids. It is the responsibility of parents to check if the vehicle they kids will be using every day is safe or not.
