Great news:Govt plans to give10GB free data to all South Africans every month.

Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, has informed the public that the government is planning to treat internet access as a ‘new basic utility’. During her speech at the SONA Debate, the senior ANC politician revealed that a ‘major free data rollout‘ is now on the cards.

Where’s the money coming from, I thought the country is bankrupt, and otherwise, how are they planning on repaying the IMF, while they’re busy doing hand outs, instead of job creation.

I really fear for the government that would be in charge of this country ANC. How about funding education, bringing fuel down and fixing eskom, roads, hospitals. Government own the spectrum so they will possibly create a shelf to broker the deal to themselves. Just “another” looting mechanism.

Crime, corruption and mismanagement of our State owned enterprises and municipalities are what must be dealt with soon. You are telling us all to have a slice of cake, while you watch South African economy crumble. Where are the investors? Where are the jobs?

Firstly, it was the R350 grants, and now 10G free for every household/person. Surely, votes are needed, dark or blue, people are still going to vote against ANC.

Always a method in their madness. People can’t eat data, it doesn’t keep them safe and dry or a respectful living. How about letting us have a stable electricity supply. Anyone who believes what the ANC says needs to have their brain evaluated.
