South Africa to be on lockdown for good 8 months, what is your opinion about this

From March of 2020, South Africa has been on lock down. After the country was hit by covid-19, this was thought to be the best way to stop the spread of this pandemic.

There are more than 80% of the world’s governments that put people in lockdown, and not just South Africa. Despite the fact that things are getting back to normal, the country is still on lock down.

Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa, president of South Africa, gave his State of the Nation Address on Thursday, and many people were hoping that he would say that lockdown inside the borders of the country was over, he didn’t.

Deputy Minister for Health in South Africa Joe Phaahla told the public that the lockdown will be in place in the mists of South Africa for another year.

Phaahla told the Sunday Times that this could include rules about wearing masks, sanitising, social distance, and limiting the size of groups of people.

In the past, the Democratic Alliance had said that they didn’t like the idea of lockdown, and this isn’t good news for people in South Africa who are tired of it.

Lockdown restrictions in South Africa will last until the end of the year, says the country’s health minister.
