Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) at #Buyamthetho high visibility block patrols conducted by JMPD officers in the JHB CBD and the surrounding.
JMPD officers focus is on crime prevention, By laws, and traffic management. JMPD says that they will make sure that they leave no stones unturned.
They are busy patrolling the city of Joburg making sure that no illegal things are going under the carpet. JMPD they are also focusing on informal traders who sell without a permit. They have impounded some of the goods from informal traders without permits and they advised them to visit their nearest Municipal offices to get permits.
JMPD says they can’t see who is legal and illegal if they all don’t have permits, they claim that if South African people can go to their nearest Municipalities and get their informal trader permits, it will be easy for them to trace illegal Foreigners selling with no permits.
