Man United have been in a poor run of form recently after the International break. They’ve drawn all three games played so far and the opposition have been quite an easy opponent in Middlesbrough, Burnley and Southampton. The worrying part of it is that all three games played by Man United have been arguably Man United’s strongest lineup with star players like Fernandes, Sancho, Rashford, Ronaldo and Pogba. However, Man United don’t need to start all of these players to win their next game which is against Brighton. In this article, we will be looking at the best suitable lineup Ralf Rangnick should deploy for Man United to easily beat Brighton.
As initially said, Man United have drawn against teams they should be winning with arguably their Strongest lineup. That lineup seem not to be working and there should be a little change to the Starting XI that will face Brighton. First of all, Maguire should be dropped and Phil Jones should replace him. Wan Bissaka needs to come in for Diogo Dalot. Dalot was really poor in the game against Southampton so another chance needs to be handed to Wan Bissaka.
Then, Fred should come in place of Scott Mctominay. It should be a midfield pairing of Fred and Paul Pogba. Also, Jesse Lingard should be handed his first premier league start this season and should replace Marcus Rashford. However, Lingard should start on the left wing, while Sancho should start on the right. Bruno Fernandes should retain his spot in the Starting XI. Finally, Ronaldo should start ahead of Cavani as the leading Striker. The Lineup is shown below.
In this lineup, there are four changes to the team that played Southampton. This is certainly not Man United’s Strongest lineup but changes have to be made being that the previous lineup have failed to win a game after the last International break. This should be Man United’s best suitable lineup that could easily beat Brighton.
What are your thoughts on this Lineup?
