NSFAS confirm that the R14 million amount which was erroneously transferred to a student, M.S Mani’s account was not from them.
Kagiso Mamabolo, NSFAS Spokesperson says it has been proven that Sebongile Mani did not receive R14 million from the NSFAS.
This after they had a meeting with the Walter Sizulu University management and Intellimali service provider where the intellimali CEO confirmed that they take all responsibility and administrative of the error made to load the money into the student’s account.
Kagiso Mamabolo says, “No financial loss was recorded from NSFAS as result of payment error. No payment was transferred into the student’s account”.
Mamabolo further says that neither the University and the NSFAS were involved in the R14 million transferring saga.
He add that the Chancellor of the Walter Sizulu university, Prof Midgley has also sent his gra1titude to intellimali for have taken the responsibility.
