Cyril Ramaposa didn’t really win the hearts of his people during the Sona address, Especially when he spoke about how people opened their own business using the Unemployment grant money and his findings were far fetched as people began to calculate the amount of money the allegedly business people saved to open their businesses.
A picture of Ramaposa and the director general of WHO had people coming at him and attacking him.
” So you are done gifting billions to the likes of Pfizer, mordena and the Johnson and Johnson now you want African countries to manufacture their own vaccines? There’s no doubt you are enriching pharmaceutical companies, we know”, one wrote
” Just two weeks after. You announced the fourth wave, Pfizer made billions and lots of billions and they said RSA us buying lots of vaccines”, another commented
“J&J and other vaccines are available, why SA is creating their own Covid-19 vaccine, are you trying to prove a point. The while continent gas failed to create a vaccine for HIV, instead they are controlling it”, one added
OPINION
