The department of Health, have confirmed 54 deaths related to coronavirus complications.
These statistics are for a 24 hour time period. On the 14th of February, the number of deaths recorded has come to a total of 97 250 in just a space of 2 years.
The coronavirus pandemic, has tested the economies, the well being, societies as well as the hospital systems of the country.
However the South African government has tried by all means to try and help its citizens.
The recovery rate of coronavirus remains at 96.3%. Meaning over 90 % of the individuals who have contracted coronavirus have managed to recover.
The government urged South African citizens to get vaccinated, in order to reduce their chances of falling sick, having server symptoms or dyeing from contracting the virus.
