Call Me A Wizard If The Finance Minister Gets More Than 3 Billion Revenue This Year: Sam George

Member of Parliament for the Ningo Prampram, Honorable Sam Dzata George, has boldly thrown a dare or challenge to Ghanaians about the current E-levy. In the process of explaining how incompetent the current Nana Addo led administration is, Sam George revealed that the desperate effort by the Finance Minister and MPs to see that the e-levy goes through is a clear exposure of how bad the economy which Bawumia boasts as a robust one, is.

Sam George stated with much boldness on the Good Morning Ghana show that the Finance Ministry will not be able to get its projected 6.9 billion from the E-levy. He believed that it was impossible since that 6.9 billion projection was made with an assumption of 1.75% tax rate in a 12 month period. However, that 1.75% has been reduced to 1.5% and also we are in the second month, leaving us with 10 clear months. It is for this reason why he made this bold statement.

“Call me a wizard of the finance minister reaches the projected 3 billion Revenue”.
