A woman called Ama Achia who stays at Denyame a suburb in Kumasi met a young man called Eric Owusu who proposed to her, she too accepted the proposal. Abena’s boyfriend was not working at that time, she provided all their basic needs. Some months later Eric got a commercial driving work, Abena stopped her job to be her boyfriend’s mate. Everything worked well for them, Luckily Eric was able to get a license. The woman got pregnant so she couldn’t continue with the mate work. After giving birth, she started selling fruits, they got t money to rent a room.
Some months later Eric informed her about a room which has been given to him by his mother. Abena then went for a loan and gave it to her boyfriend to complete the room. Later the man moved to that room at Denyame whilst she was staying at Sokoban with their two kids. She used to go to the Denyame during the weekends but someone told her that Eric has brought another woman to their new home. She went to the house and truly found the woman in the house, the man then told that woman to leave. Achia spent about two weeks at Denyame before going back to Sokoban. But that woman came back when she left.
Achia went for another loan to pay their kids school fees but when she gave the rest of the money to Eric, he gave the money to that woman. Achia got that woman’s number from Eric’s phone, she called her but they fought on phone. One day the woman’s husband called Achia that they have been married for two years and even have two children. It got to a time when her Eric doesn’t come home again. The day he will come back too he will give them only GhC15 to spend throughout the day. He has spent about three months without coming back.
Achia later found out that her boyfriend is now staying with that woman. When she went there, her boyfriend has completed the room with the woman and they are staying together. According to Eric when he moved to Denyame, he told Achia to go with him but she didn’t accept his decision. He too needs someone who will wash his clothes and cook for him, this made him go for another woman. But later when Achia came to stay with him, she used to fight with him always. That’s why he has moved out of the house to stay with the other woman.
