Kelvin Taylor is a Ghanaian investigative journalist based in the United States. He has since 2012 made it a point to expose corruption within the Government and private institutions. Kelvin Taylor is credited for exposing most of the scandals in the country under the New Patriotic Party. He started with social media broadcast where he did the weekly talk show ‘with all due respect’. This program attracted a lot of views and likes on his YouTube channel as well as his Facebook page.
In 2018, the journalist took his program to a step further. He launched a multitv channel named Loudsilence TV. This TV which operates from the US is aired on multi TV and Gotv locally as well as other social media platforms. The launch of Loudsilence TV came as great news to his followers as many more people had the opportunity to watch the live programs on every week day.
Wrapping up 2021, Kelvin Taylor announced series of programs he and his management had planned for the next year ahead. He said his programs have been extended to cover weekends as well. He also announced that he will be introducing sports and entertainment shows to keep his audience glued to Loudsilence TV.
Unfortunately, the year 2022 seems not to be the year Kelvin anticipated. The journalist has announced to his audience that he is no longer able to keep the TV channel on due to financial constraints. According to him, the amount he has been paying to keep the TV on is too much and he finds it difficult to raise funds for that. Kelvin has since called on his audience to contribute at least a dollar each to support the upkeep of the station.
Subsequent to this announcement, the marveric journalist has stated that the contributions were not coming as he expected. He hinted that if he does not get money in the next couple of days, Loudsilence TV will have to be closed down. This will be a big blow to viewers of the station.
