The unexpected demise of another hardworking police officer in the Central region has undoubtedly broken the hearts of most Ghanaians considering how most individuals have expressed immense concerns over the rise in untimely deaths of these police officers across the various regions in the country.
The Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akufo Dampare has undoubtedly witnessed lots of sad news over the past couple of months since his appointment by the incumbent President, Nana Akufo Addo considering how his police officers have undoubtedly met their respective untimely deaths over unexpected circumstances.
With respect to this, another unexpected news that has undoubtedly broken the hearts of most Ghanaians aside raising lots of concerns amongst individuals was when another innocent female police officer met her untimely death whilst on duty.
According to recent reports sited by JoyNews, the 29-year old police officer, Comfort Freby was unexpectedly crushed to death on the Kasoa-Apam highway in the central region by a speeding vehicle.
The deceased, Comfort Freby was reported to have been crushed by a speeding Toyota vehicle which had a registration number GS 4746-20 whilst she was in duty at a police checkpoint in the wee hours of Tuesday.
In addition to this, it has been reported that the driver of the Toyota vehicle unexpectedly lost control of his vehicle due to the rate at which he was driving and hence crushed the innocent police officer who has been identified to be the only breadwinner of her family to death.
The husband of the female police Officer who was killed by the speeding Toyota vehicle couldn’t control his tears as he was spotted wailing and crying uncontrollably after several police officers with the Gomoa Dominade district police command stormed the residents of the deceased to mourn with the bereaving family.
