Kirinyaga County Women Representative Wangui Ngirici on Monday, January 31, 2022 revealed Desperate moves DP Ruto’s camp has been taking since she ditched UDA.
Ngirici while addressing Kirinyaga residents meeting on Monday, revealed that since she dumped Ruto, she has been receiving overwhelming calls from UDA party members and leadership.
She further revealed that she recently met with DP Ruto at Karen offices where he pitched her an offer. According to the Kirinyaga governor prospect, Ruto urged her to lay down her prospects of becoming the Kirinyaga governor and allow Waiguru to finish her second term.
Further, Ruto urged her to vie for the Mwea parliamentary seat instead of going head on against Waiguru. He further promised to fully support her gubernatorial prospect in the next elections.
However, an adamant Ngirici turned down the offer stating that she had made up her mind and is going to the ballot to win the Gubernatorial seat. In the video, Ngirici is heard speaking in local dialect stating that she is not one to back down from her battles.
Ngirici fell out with DP Ruto after Waiguru joined Ruto’s side after dumping Uhuru and Raila’s handshake team.
The two have since exchanged words that later on led to Ngirici dumping UDA.
